Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and four members of the ODM task force that investigated graft in Kisumu County now face an imminent court battle.

This is after Governor Jack Ranguma vowed to sue them in court for linking him to corruption that is killing Kisumu County.

The report accused Ranguma of soliciting sh100 million from Madam R. Enterprise to award the company the waste management tender, an allegation that Ranguma has vehemently denied and vowed to take legal action against Raila for sanctioning the investigation and the four task force members for maligning his name.

“I have never taken any bribe from Madam R. Enterprise to award them a tender. I am so much aggrieved by the report and I’m going to sue them,” said Ranguma.

Ranguma is not the only one that is bitter with Raila Odinga; Justice Anne Omolo has also vowed to give the former PM and the task force a run for their money in court for alleging that she received sh1 million in form of bribes from Factor Connect, a travel firm that handled an MCAs’ trip to China, Singapore and Israel.

Ranguma is currently bitter with the Odinga family and does not want to have anything to do with them since he is also facing another headache from Ruth Odinga over the management of Kisumu County.
