News,
s RUTO’s aide, MARY, the one behind WAIGURU’s woes? KALENJINs are becoming chameleons.
Suspended Chief of Staff in Deputy President William Ruto’s office, Ms Mary Keittany, appeared on the List of Shame for allegedly diverting Sh 200 million to fund a campaign by MPs led by Mithika Linturi to impeach besieged Devolution Cabinet Secretary, Ms Anne Waiguru.
Although Mary’s plan flopped after Linturi disappeared to South Africa on a fully-paid holiday and as a result MPs could not debate a motion whose proponent was not in Parliament, the woman is still in pain and it seems she will not rest until she sees Waiguru thrown out of the Cabinet.
Mary is said to have created an underground network which wants to see Waiguru sent home and their latest attempt is to involve her in fraudulent deals that amount to Sh 835 million from the National Youth Service.
Keittany with the help of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s aide, Judy Kirungi, are working day and night to see that Waiguru is directly or indirectly linked to the NYS saga and she is as a result suspended over the controversial scandal.
Already, a number of Kalenjins MPs have changed their stand like chameleons and are now calling for the suspension of Waiguru.
The MPs led by Konoin Member of Parliament, Sammy Koech, said it is wrong for Waiguru to clean her name over the Sh 835 million NYS funds scam through the media instead of allowing independent investigations.
Koech requested the besieged Devolution CS to leave office and allow the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) to investigate those allegations against her and propose appropriate action.
Koech’s latest words and the stand by MPs from Kalenjin seems to have blessings from above and this nefarious mission may have been plotted by people very close to the DP’s office and Kaittany’s hands are all over this.
