Former Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu has also made clear her choice for President come next year.

Speaking during an interview with the media, Ngilu, who was sacked by President Uhuru Kenyatta from Cabinet over corruption, revealed that she will still support him come next year.

She noted that she was still in Jubilee even after being hounded out of office on flimsy grounds by Uhuru, saying she cannot join the Opposition.

However, Ngilu vowed never to dissolve her Nark Kenya party to join Uhuru/ Ruto’s Jubilee Party as demanded by the President and his Deputy saying doing so would be suicidal because it would take away her bargaining power.

"I have invested my resources, skills and experience to build and sustain the party.”

“If I dissolve it and join a new outfit, then I'm likely to get a raw deal the way KANU did to me in 1992," said Ngilu.

Ngilu had earlier indicated plans to dump Jubilee for Raila Odinga’s CORD, accusing Uhuru/ Ruto of unfairly sacking her from Government.

The former Lands CS has declared her interest to vie for the Kitui gubernatorial seat on her party ticket come next year.
