Alfred Mutu Officially reveals who he’ll support for Presidency in 2017 elections
Machakos Governor, Dr Alfred Mutua, has finally revealed the individual who he will support for the Presidency in 2017.
Speaking on Wednesday, Mutua who has since ditched Wiper Democratic Movement party and formed Maendeleo Chap Chap Movement, said that he will support an individual who will take Kenyans to greater heights and also a person who is cool and humble.
The Governor said that his support for CORD leader Raila Odinga in the 2013 polls was misplaced.
“I will support President Uhuru Kenyatta come 2017,” Mutua said adding that the President is humble, cool and not arrogant like CORD leaders.
He also said he will support President Uhuru Kenyatta because he has shown the country that he is more committed to development than politics.
“The Jubilee Government has shown that it is not interested in politics but development.”
“What you are seeing will improve even more after 2017,” Mutua said.
He also urged Kenyans to elect development oriented leaders and avoid electing leaders who preach politics day and night.
“It is not about the party but the person who matters and that is all that must matter to Kenyans,” he said.
