UHURU and RUTO can keep their dialogue, referendum is a must whether they like it or not
The senator of Bungoma and CORD Co-Principal, Moses Wetangula, has reaffirmed their stand that the Okoa Kenya referendum being spearheaded by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s CORD is a must for Kenya whether Uhuru/ Ruto’s Government agrees to dialogue with the Opposition or not.
Speaking to the media at Aga Khan Hospital when he lead a team of CORD legislators to Kisumu East MP, Olago Aluoch, Wetangula dismissed Jubilee’s precondition that CORD must drop the Okoa Kenya referendum if they want dialogue, saying that will not happen.
He also told Uhuru/ Ruto to keep their dialogue if they so wish but CORD must okoaKenya through a referendum.
“Jubilee should never tell us to drop the referendum for dialogue even before we meet. That’s a sign that they are already afraid and we tell them referendum is must; they can keep their dialogue if they want because we care less,” said Wetangula.
