Part of the CORD supporters from Luo Nyanza have said it was terribly wrong for former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, to accept President Uhuru Kenyatta’s help to bury his son, Fidel Odinga.

Addressing journalists in Bondo town, Siaya County residents said it was wrong for Raila Odinga to accept Uhuru’s offer because he rigged last year’s General Election.

Business man Paul Odhiambo, in Bondo, said it was wrong for Raila to accept Uhuru’s money and choppers because in the long run, he will be compromised and lose his dignity among his supporters.

Paul said Raila Odinga has enough money to hire private choppers to transport the body of Fidel for burial.

Odhiambo’s comments were echoed by Susan Ateko, who said Raila is a billionaire who can afford to pay for 100 funerals in a day and it was wrong for him to accept money from his political nemesis.

After he contributed Sh 1 million towards Fidel’s burial, Uhuru went ahead and offered Raila Odinga military choppers and his personal jet for the burial.
