Francis ATWOLI hit by a massive stroke and fighting for his life after attending FIDEL’s burial

Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General, Francis Atwoli, is fighting for his life at the Nairobi Hospital.

Atwoli was hit by a massive stroke on Sunday and was rushed to Nairobi Hospital, where he was admitted to the Hospital’s at St. Francis Ward.

The attack  happened a day after attending the burial of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s son, Fidel, in Bondo on Saturday.

Francis Atwoli’s family has refused to give any further information to the public or media for reasons best known to them.

It is only said Atwoli is in a stable condition and is out of danger.


The COTU boss is the lead champion of the Luhya unity calls and is an ardent supporter of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s CORD.
