Although former KTN anchor, Louis Otieno, has been denying that he used to co-habit with the late Careen Chepchumba whose lifeless body was found in her apartment after she died in mysterious circumstances, a security guard testifying in the murder case revealed crucial details that may help unveil the mystery surrounding Careen’s death.

John Njoroge, a security guard who was manning the apartment where Careen’s body which appeared to have been strangled was found, told the court that the only man who frequented Careen’s house was Louis Otieno.

Njoroge said that Louis used to sleep there many times and Careen hadinstructed him to let the ex-anchor into the house without any restrictions.

“I would not even write his number plate down at the gate because he 

was there often," he told the court

The security guard further said that on the day Careen died, Louis visited her but he didn’t write down the number plate of his car because he was a frequent visitor.

He further added that he was not sure the time the former anchor left Careen’s residence on that fateful day.

This puts Louis in a tricky situation because he has been telling the court that he has never co-habited with the late Careen.

The late Careen’s parents believe that Louis strangled their daughter to death in what seems to be love gone sour.

The embattled former news anchor may be jailed for life if found guilty of murdering  his ex-girlfriend, Careen.
