Governor JOHO is funding ODM single handedly - Where is he getting the money from?
Mombasa Governor, Hassan Joho, embarrassed Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) supporters after he flagged off just one ODM bus on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Joho had assured ODM supporters that he will flag off 47 buses to counter Jubilee Alliance’s extravaganza at Safaricom Stadium Kasarani.
Joho also said that the event will be one of the biggest celebrations to be held in Mombasa.
Mr Joho said buses and other vehicles branded in ODM colours will be used to transport supporters from all Counties to the coastal town.
“As opposed to our competitor Jubilee, ODM is not spending a cent in these celebrations as they will be 100 percent funded by supporters themselves who have the same vision of the party,” Joho said.
But despite the assurances, Joho only paraded one branded bus, something that incensed ODM supporters.
“How can Joho flag one bus and he assured us of 47 ODM branded buses?” one ODM supporter posed.
